Go Green With The Blue Rocks And Support Children’s Mental Health

Mark your calendars! Sunday, May 19th, is Wilmington Blue Rocks Go Green for Children’s Mental Health Day at Frawley Stadium, sponsored by Delaware’s Division of Prevention and Behavioral Health Services.

Make plans now to attend the game. Proceeds from tickets bought through the Go Green for Children’s Mental Health promotion will be donated to the Delaware chapter of Federation of Families, a family run organization that supports and promotes children’s mental health.

So join us at the game for loads of family fun as the Blue Rocks face off against the Myrtle Beach Pelicans. Be sure to wear green and show your support for children’s mental health issues.

Blue Rocks Go Green for Children’s Mental Health game day details are:

Date – Sunday May 19th, 2013
Where – Frawley Stadium, Wilmington DE
First pitch – 1:35 pm
Cost – $9 per ticket
Call – (302) 888-2015 for tickets.

NOTE: Tickets must be purchased directly from the Blue Rocks box office to receive the special group rate of $9, and to have a portion of the ticket proceeds donated to our local Federation of Families chapter. When requesting game tickets, ask for tickets from the Go Green for Children’s Mental Health promotion. Buying tickets through the website will not count towards the Go Green initiative.

May 19th Is Blue Rocks Sunday Fun Day!

Sunday May 19th is also Sunday Fun Day at Frawley Stadium. That means fun for the whole family. Fans of all ages can participate in a pre-game child-parent catch on the field, get their favorite players’ autographs, and after the game ends, all kids are invited down to the field for a post-game run around the bases.

Check out the rest of the action happening this Sunday:

  • The first 1,000 fans will received free green t-shirts from Delaware’s Division of Prevention and Behavioral Health Services (DPBHS).
  • Phineas & Ferb will be making an appearance at the game. You just don’t know what antics they might be up to!
  • May is Physical Fitness Month. The Blue Rocks and Frawley Stadium show their support by hosting their first annual Health and Fitness Expo Day.
